Birth Junkies

Come join us to learn, share, and support each other as doulas and birth professionals.  This support group is for any and all birth workers, who support women prenatally and postpartum, to come together

We meet on the 1st Thursday of every month from 7-9 pm. 

Birth Chat

Are you pregnant or have you recently given birth?  Join us for birth chat and support each other through the prenatal and postpartum period.  Ask questions, share your birth story, and help other families learn through community.

Fertility, Pregnancy, Nutrition, & Health

These classes are taught by Aubrey Phelps who is a registered functional nutritionist specializing in perinatal and pediatric nutrition. She believes in a holistic approach to health, focusing on all aspects of health and wellness. Aubrey works to find the root causes of imbalance and then craft a unique plan, specific to the needs, goals, and imbalances of her client. Her passion is helping women re-establish balance, being a resource, and providing a village for her clients. Aubrey is also a momma to three little ones earth-side and three angels she has yet to meet.

Optimizing Your Fertility 

Trying to conceive can be stressful in the best of circumstances.  In this class we will discuss the different modifiable factors that influence fertility and can help support a healthy pregnancy and baby.  The focus will be on nutrition and lifestyle considerations, like key nutrients for egg and sperm health, as well as timing to optimize your chances for success.  This class id ideal for those trying to conceive, suffering from infertility or secondary infertility, recurrent miscarriage, and those preparing for IVF or other fertility treatments.  

$75 a session (includes 2 tickets)

Radiant Pregnancy

Pregnancy is a time of great joy and often great anxiety! In this class, you will learn how to best support your growing little one, as well as your own changing body. Using nutrition and lifestyle changes, you will discover ways to help reduce the common discomforts of pregnancy, nourish your body and baby, and prepare for labor, delivery, and beyond. This class will also focus on changes you can make to help mitigate your risk for complications, including gestational diabetes and preeclampsia. This class is ideal for the first and second trimester.

$75 a session (includes 2 tickets)

Placenta 101 & Encapsulation

Learn about the history, anatomy, & functions of the amazing placenta, as well as the benefits of encapsulation. See what all the placenta does & has to offer postpartum for soon to be moms.  This class is taught by Certified Placenta Encapsulation Specialist Emma Whitlock.  She is a certified birth doula and home birth midwife assistant, who specializes in placenta health and care.

Breastfeeding Education & Support

Breastfeeding: 

Getting the Right Start

This 1.5-2 hour class is designed for the expectant mother and their partner.  It covers breast anatomy, nipple evaluation, positioning/latch-on, evaluating a feeding, sore nipples, engorgement, nipple confusion and more. It is designed to empower you and provide  resources to use during your breastfeeding journey.  For the best retention of information we recommend attending this class around 35 to 36 weeks gestation during your pregnancy.

$50 a session (includes 2 tickets)

These classes are taught by Lisa Falkenstein.  Lisa is a certified lactation counselor (CLC) and a certified postpartum doula (CPD) that has served the community for over 10 years. She brings years of experience working hands on with breastfeeding & postpartum families.  Many of the families she serves, transition back to work while maintaining their breastfeeding relationship.

The Employed

Breastfeeding Mother

This 1 hour class is designed for moms who will be going back to work while breastfeeding.  This class describes how to successfully combine working and breastfeeding.  It  Includes how to select a breast pump and breast milk storage. You will leave empowered and with solid resources.  For the best retention of information we recommend attending this class around 35 to 36 weeks gestation during your pregnancy.

$50 a session (includes 2 tickets)
