A Bit About Me

My name is Rosie Messina and I have been helping families safely birth at home for almost 15 years with close to 1,000 catches.  There is something special about being able to say you had complete and full support at such a vulnerable time in your life.  My passion for home birth really stems from having the ability to make informed decisions that are best for you and the simplistic comfort of knowing your body can do this.  I have experience with a variety of different births and presentations, as well as water births.  I have three children of my own, the last one being born at home, as well as all three of my grandchildren.  Home birth is my true passion, but when I am not supporting families and catching babies, you can usually find me at the barn with my beloved horses or spending time with my grandchildren.
